The death case of a sex worker in a dorm in Tebet, South Jakarta, a couple times ago, seizes the attention of Jakarta Provincial Government. The incident revealed the fact that all this time many dorms in Jakarta have been misused as undercover places for prostitution.

Dorms will Be Raided as Drug AnticipationKukuh explained, in the raid, Satpol PP personnel raided the dorms which violate the allotment license from homestay to be dorm enterprises. The dorms which have not obtain the license will be strict sanctioned such as by giving a warning and sealing.
"The raid is about allotment license. Those dorms should obtain it. What's the allotment of their license for?," he asked
He explained, the raid against dorms involved Army and Police apparatus. The dorm sweeping conducted in each area is accompanied by urban village and sub-district heads as regional apparatus.
"We hope through this raid, the prostitution in dorms could be minimized," he expressed.
As known, a woman named Alfi Sharin (26) a.k.a Deudeuh was found dead in her dorm in Jalan Tebet Utara, 15-9, No. 28, Tebet Timur, South Jakarta, a couple times ago.
It is lately revealed, an one-child widow who was a sex worker was killed by one of her customers, Rio, Bogor citizen, West Java.
